Our evening classes are perfect for working individuals who want to explore their creativity through drawing or painting, with the freedom to choose any style and media.

We accommodate all students of all abilities and levels.
It’s never too late to give it a try - we have students of all ages, from 13 to 100!
What media I can use?
Pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, watercolor, pastel, acrylic paint, oil paint.
What should I bring?
You can bring any unfinished artwork needing some improvement, start a new project right here,
or just come in and we will discuss your ideas and come up with a direction.
For the first finished project, ART ZONE will fully provide all the materials you need for your artwork.
After your first project is finished, please invest in your own art supplies to start bringing to class.

It is $120 per month for the group classes, or $40 per one group class drop-in
Private Art Classes are available for $80/hour
Semi-Private Art Classes are also available for $100/hour.

NEW OFFERING:
ART CLASSES AT THE RIVERCHASE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
on Tuesdays 6:00 pm to 8:00 pmJoin us for ten classes with Svetlana Bel! Svetlana is a classically trained artist with a Master’s in Art Education from the University of Florida. She has taught in the Hoover and Vestavia area for years. You will enjoy her enthusiastic and friendly approach as she increases your confidence and guides you to produce beautiful art!
Our classes will be Tuesday evenings in the Choir Room from 6:00 to 8:00.

Painting with acrylics will be a centerpiece, but Svetlana will spend some of the first class surveying us about what we would like to do.
We will have an Art Show in the Welcome Center at RUMC. This is scheduled for Sunday, December 10, during and after morning worship services.
